Pray for Schools Fortnight

Pray for Schools have a fortnight in May where we are hoping to encourage particular events and prayers for Schools in Wales; for the first week we have come together with 24-7 prayer , Christian Council for Schools in Wales, and Urban Saints (formerly crusaders) to create a prayer diary from 8th May,we will send you details of this nearer the time.
We do hope that you will be able to join us in doing something special to pray for the schools in Wales during this fortnight and if possible register any events with us, so we can keep in touch.

Wales National Children’s & Youth Work Conference

The conference is aimed at all working with children and young people in Churches and Schools across Wales. The conference main aims are training and resourcing volunteers as well as giving an opportunity to see what God is doing around the nation.

Christmas Puppet Roadshow

Elvis is an Angel in Training being mentored by the great Archangel, Gabriel. Elvis and the Baby is a puppet show following Elvis as he watches the events of the first Christmas unfolding in front of him.

With teams in the north and south presenting in English and Welsh, tens of thousands of Primary School children will be reminded of the importance of Christmas as we celebrate God entering our world as a baby.

Elvis and the Baby is provided to schools free of charge by a variety of Churches and organisations co-ordinated by Urban Saints.

Rebel, Rugby & Rapping

Mission to Welsh Speaking schools in Llandeilo, Llanelli, Ammanford & Carmarthen.

October 18 -21

Christians in politics, rugby and hip hop music will be the topics of discussion in some of the classes in Ysgol Tregib (Llandeilo), Ysgol y Strade (Llanelli), Ysgol Dyffryn Aman (Ammanford) and Ysgol Bro Myrddin (Carmarthen). During lunch Society Profiad, the Welsh language Christian hip hop band, will be performing live in the four schools.

The pupils will be invited to attend a Christian youth club on the four evenings of the mission.
